SoulAviv to Sing Friday 1/13 with The Temple and the Ebenezer Baptist Church!
We are excited this weekend to be traveling to Atlanta to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend Shabbat at The Temple, singing with the amazing Temple Singers (under the direction of Cantor Deborah Numark), and the choir from the Ebenezer Baptist Church (where MLK preached). This could be amazing, life changing, and just plain fun. Hope to have video to share next week!

Martin Luther King Day 2012
Next year on Friday January 13, we are excited to announce that we will be doing a Shabbat service in Atlanta, singing with the choirs from both The Temple, and the Ebenezer Baptist Church — where Martin Luther King preached. Given that the idea for SoulAviv came while sitting in a Baptist church in Memphis, about 3 blocks from the Lorraine Motel, this is pretty cool — full circle for us.

SoulAviv signs license deals! — March 22, 2011
This past week, we are pleased to report, we have signed not one, but two separate licensing agreements to get some of our songs placed in TV ads, movies, and holiday themed sound tracks. Covered in these agreements are The Candles of Hannukah, and Crossing the Freedom River…..very cool. We’ll keep you posted on where to listen for them.
Ruach 5771 – December 8, 2010
Every year the URJ puts out a compilation CD for distribution to all their camps and events. We’re pretty happy to report that from among hundreds of submissions, our song ‘Reach Our Hands’ out has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming ‘Ruach 5771′ CD, due out in February. Yeah us!
Top 12 Worldwide! – November 1, 2010
We are all very proud and pleased to tell you that at the Int’l Jewish Music Fest in Amsterdam, we made it all the way to the semi-final round, and so are one of the Top 12 Jewish music acts in the world just now. So that’s fun!
Jewish County Fair – September 29, 2010

Amsterdam – September 6, 2010
SoulAviv just learned yesterday that we have been selected as one of only 24 ensembles world- wide (and one of only 3 in the US) to compete in the Int’l Jewish Music Festival in Amsterdam in late October.
